I'm with Adam about cheese. It's always smelled too strong to me. A tiny bit of cheese can overpower the taste of everything else in a dish. So I sneak milk in wherever I can, otherwise my bones are going to be lace by the time I'm 75. I've always said I'd be a vegetarian if I had to kill and dress my own meat, though more from squeamishness than ethical problems with killing to eat. I hate dismembering a chicken and cleaning fish, so I can imagine how lousy I'd be at butchering a cow or pig. I don't apologize for being an omnivore, farming and hunting have always been a harsh business for the animals involved, agri-business just makes it harsher in a bigger way. Cold? Maybe, but I'm a human chauvinist. I'm working toward when no more kids are abandoned and abused and our mentally ill aren't forced to wander the streets. ~LA
